Maharajah Lunch Menu

Four Course Lunch £10.95

Served 12 Noon – 2pm (4 pm Friday and Saturday)

Starters

    • Vegetable Pakora

potato and cauliflower dipped in chick pea batter and cooked in aromatic oil.

    • Fish Pakora

fresh whiting dipped in chick pea batter and cooked in aromatic oil.

    • Turkish Kebab

minced lamb mixed with onions, herbs and special spices(from Istanbul) , grilled in tandoor.

    • Dall and Nariyal Soup

lightly spiced, north Indian lentil soup with coconut milk

    • Garlic Mushrooms

button mushrooms cooked in our special homemade garlic butter.

    • Dhahi Deghie

Cooked with kashmiri deggi mirch, hung yoghurt, fried onion and garlic, tempered with whole coriander, cumin & red chillies. – mild to medium

    • Chicken Pakora

fresh succulent chicken dipped in chick pea batter and cooked in aromatic oil.

Main Course

    • Chicken Tikka Mahkani

cooked in a creamy, cracked nut and sun dried tomato sauce – VERY MILD

    • Chicken / Lamb Tikka

succulent pieces of chicken/Iamb marinate in spices and then barbequed in tandoor.– MEDIUM

    • Chichen Tikka Lahori Chilli

fresh garlic, herbs and fiery kale mirch coming through the sweet mango muraga.– MEDIUM

    • Chicken Tikka Jalfrizi

Cooked with fresh shallots and bell pepper to give light flavoured dish, – MEDIUM

    • Chicken Kastoori

Authentic Punjabi dish prepared from cream and garlic infused with swat herbs –MILD

    • Chicken Tikka Dhahi Deghie

cooked in a rich onion yogurt and freshly roasted coriander seeds sauce.– MEDIUM

    • Lamb Madras

chicken cooked in blend of naga chillies to give a fiery sensation – HOT

    • Lamb Bhuna

cooked in rich sauce containing vine tomato, shallots, ginger and garlic- MEDIUM

    • Lamb Bhuna

cooked in rich sauce containing vine tomato, shallots, ginger and garlic- MEDIUM

    • Lamb Gram Masala

rich flavours achieved by using fresh ginger, garlic, fresh coriander, fresh vine tomatoes and freshly grounded gram masala.– SLIGHTLY HOT

    • Lamb Karahi

cooked in cast iron wok with fresh Punjabi spices, ginger, garlic and green peppers – MEDIUM

    • Vegetable Jalfrazi

Potato, Cauliflower, Peas, Onions, Dutch Capsicum and tomato in a special Masaladar Sauce- MEDIUM

 

all above dishes are served with rice or two chapatis. Nan or Pratha (£1 extra)
